JJ'89's advice is good. Use one of the many dealer sites (I'm partial to this one https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/T...091603078.html, but I'm sure Olathe is just as good) to get the part number. Then let Google do your shopping for you! As it turns out, this dealer has pretty much the best price! (There is the cost of shipping, of course.)

I use McGeorge Toyota...$16.71.

Email them for part diagrams if you need something specific. I needed a brake line to rear brakes that was discontinued. They figured out another Toyota part number would fit, and sure enough it was an exact fit. Saved me the hassle of having to buy a brake line kit to make one.

Been running 180 thermostat for 28 years original engine original transmission don’t want to change
I’ve been running after market for all these years never ran OEM 180 before it actually has 490,000 on it now Didn’t have a recent picture

I'd go with the dual valve one that RB from 4crawler recommends. The small valve reacts faster, giving you a more stable environment without high temp over and undershoots. Always OEM in this case, because often people will buy the failsafe ones.

Since you aren't tuning your engine, nor is it anything close to high performance or high compression, I would NOT run a cooler tstat. Rather, start running the correct temp range. Possibly your engine doesn'T even see "warm engine" temps and your fuel efficiency is out the window.

Unless you happen to experience the "Temperature Gauge Overshoot" problem, I would personally just run what these engines came with from the factory, the 88°C (190°F) thermostat: 90916-03078.

I'm gonna stick with "gradual temp change management" - it's a aluminum head on a iron block.
