I'm sure this has been asked before. My parking brake cable broke on my 77 pickup. And I can't find a replacement anywhere. Parts stores dont have them and can't order them and I can't find one online. I'm sure im not the only person with this problem. Anyone found a good solution besides the junkyard. Id like a brand new cable. Possibly modifying a cable from another vehicle?

 

welcome to yotatech. for better results, try posting in the correct area of the forum. your 1977 pickup does not fall within the 86-95 parameters youll see above in bold lettering.

 

You will probably need to build one / have one built.
