1" Brake Master Cyclinder

Hello, I was wondering if i could upgrade the 7/8" cyclinder on my 87 with a 1" Cyclinder from a 93 truck.

If so, is there a differnce between 4x4 cyclinders, Do those cables just get spliced the same? Does anyone have the Proper Part Number?

edit: 7/8"

No, please keep this thread.
I have this "notch" feel on my brakes. Many fellow members and I suspect defective vacuum booster.
I heard from a fellow member that Brake Master Cylinder and Booster from V6 2nd-Gen 4Runner PLug and Play into 1st gen.
If above is true, instead of buying brand-new components separately, I'll consider finding a set from junk yard and install on my truck.

I can confirm that the whole master cylinder and booster can be swapped freely between 84-95 4runners and trucks, 79-83 requires a custom spacer to install and an extension to the pedal. I have a second gen v6 booster with a larger bore master cylinder (15/16 I believe) from a Tacoma in my 83 Pickup, as well as a true 1" bore master from a Land Cruiser in my second gen 4Runner. The only thing I would stress about swapping these around would be making sure the shaft to the pedal is or can be reset to the same length as the original, otherwise you may have too little or too much pedal response.
