So I've been wrapping up my motor build and I believe ive just about figured out my EGR delete so I'm putting the rest of my EFI back together. I need some help on what a few of these hoses/tubes may be to. Here are a few pictures of what I'm talking about, one hose almost looks like a type of fuel line however I cant seem to find where it goes.... mabe a EGR tube that can be done away with, same for the one under the EFI?
The 18400 or equivalent can be purchased at any of the auto parts stores because it is a stocking item. It's an U-shaped coolant bypass hose. It's hooks to the new coolant bypass fitting you have under the intake.
All the above coolant hoses fit a 1992 22RE 2wd with the coolant fed idle air valve, and up under the intake manifold just fine. Have had all three installed since August 2017...still look new.
Last time I checked, Toyota wanted more than $40 plus shipping for the Gates 18222 equivalent. No way I am going to pay that much for a little dinky hose.
Alright guys here's a pic i found on Google, the two blue circles i have found the answer to (as shown in the picture) still looking for where the tube in the red circle goes. As you can see they come off of the passenger side timing cover under the EFI system
