Help! 94 pick up transfer case seems stuck in neutral.
5 speed 2.4 ltr. 94 pick up. W56 (top shift)
Transfer case seems to be stuck in neutral. Despite manually moving shift forks from high/low & 2wd/4wd.
Issue happened after shifting from 4hi into 4low (stopped) transmission is a w56e.
Shifter removed for visual. Manually moving forks has no effect. With the shifter cover off I can see the center shaft turning. Once in a great while it goes into 4 high.

The only shift rail I saw you move in that video is the 2wd/4wd rail (the one on the right.) The left rail is the H-N-L rail. High is forward, neutral is centered, low is back. (Everything is exactly opposite of how the shift lever knob moves). It's hard to tell if your left rail is fully forward or fully back. For sure it's not centered, which it should be if the tcase is in neutral.
Also, unless your tcase has been modified for twin stick operation, the two rails should be interlocked, such that the right rail can only move when the left rail is fully forward, and the left rail can only move when the right rail is fully forward. So, if you are trying to move the left rail to get it out of neutral, first push the right rail fully forward.
Edit: Changed because I had forward/rearward interchanged.
