1993 3.0 Timing Issue ( help please)

I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup 4x4 3.0L that I rebuilt entirely. I am having an issue with the timing. When the truck is cold I can start it and am able to adjust the timing between 0 and 20 degrees, but once the truck warms up the timing advances and I can only go down to 14 degrees before I run out of adjustment. I know the truck needs to be warmed up, and terminals E1 and TE1 jumped for timing adjustment, but like I said when it is warm I cant get below 14degrees before I run out of adjustment, but if I get the timing gun set up before I warm it up, I can easily adjust the timing to de10 degrees. As soon as it warms up it advances to around 15-20 degrees on its current set point. I have tried bringing the distributor back 1 tooth, but when I do that I can only adjust the timing up to 0 degrees, it over adjust. Truck has new crank, pistons, distributor, headers, 02 Sensor, EGR delete kit from LCE engineering, new exhaust, and aftermarket intake. Deleted EGR as per write up on this forum. Any ideas?

Verify that the jumper is in correctly (to get to base timing). The CEL should be flashing.

Dude check my thread I just made with timing!!! What kind of dizzy did you put in your truck!?!?

i went to put a factory new replacement on thinking my original toyota Denso was bad and it wasn’t. The factory news rotor was off compared to the Toyota Denso when they were both lined at tdc. OUT OF SPEC

i was told they changed distributor specs on 7th month of 93. Which I never heard before. But if anything maybe bring that up to them and see if they can get you one that fits specs

The factory distributor that was originally on the truck did the same thing also?

Have you got this code before? Check terminals connections for Anything loose. Test resistance of nEw dizzy. Just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’s right haha

Make sure the TPS is adjusted correctly; in particular check that the throttle closed switch is working correctly. In order to set base timing, two things must be true. (1) TE1 must be jumpered to E1. (2) the ECU must see the "throttle closed" signal from the TPS. If either of those is not true, the ECU does it's own thing with timing rather than run at base timing.
