Hi guys,
Please, I'd like to confirm this info about the correct lug nuts to install alloy rims.
The Toyota alloy rims, T 15x7JJ-8 DOT Offset 8 (photo 1),
need the shank-style lug nuts (photo 2)
Stud size and thread pitch: 12mm x 15
Wrench size 21mm
Lug length 1 7/8"(4,75mm)
eBay search lug nuts 4Runner. 3500 hits. That spec you have looks right. I have bought several sets, black, chrome. As long as they are that style they work fine. My 91 Camry with corolla s wheels nuts interchange with 4Runner. The black nuts look nice on those wheels for a change. The knockoffs will rust fairly quick but they are down to 12 bucks a set. Last time I bought they were closer to 20 bucks at the cheapest.
I wanted to be sure about it, a Toyota dealer asked me a €160 for a set of 24 lug nut, and in car part shops ask between €6 and €7 each.
The Toyota dealer guy didn't know the lug nut to give me, so he placed an order for a short one, around 3.7mm long, and I have to wait until he gets it and see if that fits. Anyway, I'll get them from a cheaper source, I just wanted to be sure about the specifications because in that dealership didn't know the right lug nuts for those rims, in fact, the *sh*l* told me 'I barely can help you, your truck's too old, we only have info in our systems from 1990 vehicles until now'
Thank you for your help, I'll post an update after install them.

I believe that is referred to as lug centric as the lugs od position the rim correctly whereas some wheels the center hole must be the correct size as this positions the wheel correctly hub centric.
Hi!
The Toyota dealer guy gave me lug nut to try, the one in the first photo. It fits but it's short, so I decided to go for the ones you recommended me (the one in the third photo).
Toyota part number is 90084-94002 in case other member needs that info.
Thank you guys!
Hi guys!
Do you know if the weight of those wheel lock set (pic 1) match the weight of the normales ones Toyota part number 90084-94002, weight 86 grams (pic 2)?
I'd like to be sure before I buy them, I have to import them.
This is the item in eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-2017-4...AAAOSw4CFY0A6r
Thank you!
No idea about the wheel locks, but if you use them make SURE you have the socket in your truck at all times, I have twice met people who had to hitch a ride to the parts store because they had a flat and didn't have the socket with them.
I have one of the short lug nuts you pictured on my truck, I broke a stud and when I replaced it that is what the local tire shop had sitting around, works fine. Also those lugnuts will work on regular steel rims, which is what I have because with the stuff they put on the roads here in the winter aluminum rims corrode terrible and get stuck on the hubs; not fun when you are trying to beat a flat tire off by laying in the mud and pouring rain while beating on it with a splitting mual (or whatever else you can find). . . ask me how I know.
