Would anybody happen to know where the end front passenger side drain tube exits. I know it comes down through the a pillar just cannot figure out where the end of the tube is.

Cheers

Figured it out. Actually runs down the A pillar and ends up running right by the ECU into the channel that runs under the door. That channel was filling up and not draining causing my floor board on the passenger side to get soaked. There are approx 3 or more small opening in that channel that drain the water and they were clogged. Now just need to find a good way to clean that channel out.

helps to know what vehicle. on my two 1st gen 4runners with sunroofs, the drain tube runs down behind the ecu in the kick panel, and drains out the slot in the body where the back of the fender meets the door edge.

try a pipe cleaner to clear the channels, or something similar.

my description above may have been lacking somewhat, but it drains into the rocker panel under the door, then there are 4 little slots underneath where the water is supposed to drain out. the slots were plugged allowing the rocker panel to fill up with water and draining back into the cab.
Thanks for the help guys

1st gen has the same type of slots on the backside of the rockers. i use a pipe cleaner to clear the gunk out, allowing the rocker to drain. there is also the slot at the back edge of the fender, but it is a larger channel.

Not seeing this one wallytoo. Would not happen to have a pic of that one would you? Just want to make sure I get them all cleaned out, because the only ones I am seeing are the ones in the pinch weld under the rocker panel.

yes, those are the ones. there are six or so per rocker. you can also use the "straw" from a spray can of penetrating lubricant of your choice.
