'85 Toyota 22r won't start after Weber install

Hi I'm new here
After searching through numerous threads, I can't quite find what I am looking for. I have an '85 Toyota pickup with a 22r. After having problems with the aisin carb, I decided to buy the redline weber kit from pierce manifolds. After yanking the egr and vacuum lines, plugging holes in the intake manifold, and blocking off the egr, I installed the carb. I cannot get it to start for the life of me. I've checked everywhere for vacuum leaks including the brake booster with no luck. I know it has spark because it ran before (but crappy). It does have 6 month old gas in it if that could have anything to do with it. The best it has done is chug for a few seconds while I am repeatedly pumping the gas, but it never catches. It is a Redline Weber 32/36 carb from pierce manifolds. If anyone could help, that would be great

Well a few questions, but first . . .
Please put your vehicle info in the signature - kinda like mine. Then give us some pics of your engine compartment and carb - pic are worth 1k each. Also put your location in your profile so we can see it.

Then . . .
After having problems with the aisin carb, What were the problems?

It does have 6 month old gas in it if that could have anything to do with it. Yes it could be. Try a little bit of Stabil with at least 5 gallons of good gas.

What is the fuel pressure regulator set at?

How old are the plugs and what do they look like (pic)?

So, the problem turned out to be a mix of bad fuel and high fuel pressure.
I rigged up a small gravity fed tank inside of my engine bay, and hooked it directly to the carb.
After taking spark plugs out and clearing cylinders of bad gas, She fired right up.
Then I was able to set idle, timing, ect.
Thank you for your help anyway though.
