Hey everybody! So I've got a lot of stuff planned for my pickup (mainly SAS, Chevy rears, 5.29s with 35s and hopefully start an exo cage) this summer, I'm still in high school for a few more weeks and working too so I don't have tons of free time at the moment... but I've made some progress on rebuilding my axle so I figured I'd share it!
So here's the truck when I first picked it up. 1986 Pickup, 22r and 5 speed manual. Had about 160k on it
And this is how she sits now, swapped in bucket seats from a 4Runner, 31s, straight piped and some bumpers, pretty much stock everything else... wanna be wheeler
And here's the axle I've got for the swap. From an 85, picked it up for $250. I pulled the hubs and knuckles
and sand blasted them in my auto shop class. Got them all clean and painted.
