While I was doing a brake job on my 1994, the back bearing was stuck on the spindle. What's the easiest way to get the inside ring off. I am drenching the spindle with PB blaster and plan to pry with a screwdriver. Any other suggestions?

 

you're going to need more than a screwdriver!
these lock rings are pressed on, there more than a few write-ups on rear wheel bearing replacement on this forum.
I have some pictures on my build thread of the tool I made for removal without a press, check it out, but do some research about getting it all to seal when you put it back together.
If you have no way to build a tool or no press to use you can cut the ring off, but CAREFULLY! so you don't score the axle.

 

I remember now, I had to cut the ring off and use this tool to remove the bearing:



Flipped upside down and slammed on my chopping block and the bearing came off of the axle

 

Or when you say the back bearing do you mean the inner bearing on the front spindle? heat it up and start tapping on it

I was about to say you guys must have some pretty strange trucks if you had a steering knuckle and spindle in the rear......

Depending how hot things got it might be interesting . What condition was the hub in ??

I would venture you don`t have a puller big enough or you would have used that

With the way the steering knuckle is it is pretty hard to get behind and tap it off

Cutting with cutting disc might be your only option .

 

Cut a cut off wheel for a Dremel and cut it about 75% to 95% through. Ideally as close as possible to all the way through without going all the way through so you don't nick the spindle. Sometimes, just the tension in the ring is enough to split it when you get close to cutting it all the way through. If not, one good hard rap with a hammer and chisel should split it right apart. With it no longer tight and holding on to the spindle it should slide off easily.
