Actually the frame looks pretty clean from what we can see in the pics. Looks like you're doing some body work. What are your plans for it?

I’m from Mexico
my plans is to leave it as original as possible. I'm missing the original Toyota cb, headlight bezels, original seats. the truck when I started to disarm it I did not find any important rust. practically is very healthy. I had the original painting without shocks. I'm looking for the original wheels

Sunroof SR5 is a sweet truck. If I could make one suggestion, paint it the original blue with orange and yellow stripes as seen in the first picture you posted.

Re: Windshield, make sure you clean the mounting surface and surrounding down to bare metal. Use as few finish layers as possible (less layers to peel apart). No body filler for the dips; the urethane windshield adhesive bead will be think enough to conform to dips and bumps.
Also do away with the trim; it traps dirt, moisture and promotes rust. I will eventually just fill the gap on mine with Dow Corning 995 Silicone. Uses stearic acid solvent, so it will not promote rust. There is some rule about not using silicone for windshield. That means not using silicone to stick windshield on body. OK to use it to fill gap after mounting.
