1983 pickup, 22r, truck doesn't want to idle, will start in high idle, if I give it gas it will run, but as soon as it tries to idle it will die. Plugs and wires are fine, haven't changed timing/tuning, couldn't find any large vacuum leaks, float level is good. After starting it in high idle and spraying in some carb cleaner, it would hold idle very rough at 800, allot of sputter at exhaust. This was for a short period of time, and then it died again. You guys have any ideas?

 

Update, it was the fuel cutoff solenoid, I tested it in the harness with no click, then put it on battery to get a click. I figure there's a problem in the harness, maybe bad solder at ecm. I put a bolt in it's place and it idles great. I think Im starting to understand why people switch to webers.
