So my dad and buddy were trying to help me and ˟˟˟˟ed up my 80 amp fuse in the engine compartment and i forgot which way the wires go because there is 3 white wires and 2 red wires but i dont remember which side they go on because now when i go to crank it, it makes a tap tap tap tap ect. noise. Also before this my truck is hard to start up and i just replaced the fpr and the icm but i got told that it might be the coil, it that true?

 

Without having a History of your truck saying the coil is your problem would just be a guess.

Hard starting could be almost anything

I would guess the tuneup parts have been replaced Cap/ Rotor , Wires and Sparkle plugs

Good clean Air Filter

Timing has been checked ??

As to the 80amp fuse I don`t have that EWD
