Getting a ticking noise from right front end.

When coming to a stop,(under 10 mph) clutch engaged or in neutral, I'm experiencing a ticking/thumping noise related to vehicle speed. Doesn't do it if in gear or at any other speed? No sound if wheels are turned either way while driving.(not the CV joints). Sounds like it's coming from under the shifter. Does it in 2x4 and 4x4. Recently replaced front pads/rotors 2 weeks ago. Took both front wheels off to see I could see anything obvious. Rotors are clean, no rocks or debris. CV boots are still in good shape, no holes or tears. Also just serviced transmission/transfer case with new synthetic oil (75w-90 GL4/5). Just makes no sense that it only happens when coming to a stop. Was doing it all day today. Help!!!

Does it also clunk to a stop? I'd re-check the levels in both transfer and trans. Too little or too much isn't good. Make sure the Toy is level when you check.

When I serviced the fluids, I only filled to the point where it started to come out the fill hole. And yes, I did this on a level surface. I will check again today after rig cools off. And it's not doing it in reverse.
Thanks for the input. Anybody else have any ideas?

Well, if its also a clunking noise that you can feel easily, it could be a clutch and flywheel that's getting worn out.
