Yeah I've searched So I guess the best way is to do the blow dryer trick eh? I have a very, very, very tough sticker that needs to be removed from my back glass. I tried it last night with just a straight razor, but no luck....

 

Time to get rid of the Dukakis for President in '88, huh?

if you can ge tthe graphic off..but still have a sticky residue...put goo gone on it , let it sit, then get a credit card and it scrapes away fairly easy.

 

For leftover gooey stuff, body or glass, I use WD-40 and a rag. Works wonders.

 

Ive used everthing from carb cleaner to wd40 with sucess. Usually it will soften up the glue so the razor can remove it.

 

Believe it or not (brush on type) Easy Off Oven Cleaner for glass or paint as long as the vehicle still has the factory paint

 

Goo gone works fine on glass, but on paint plan on repolishing and waxing as it takes off the polish/wax and leaves the area dull, but not really a big deal. It took the junk left behind when I swapped my emlbems to black pearls off with ease. Just spray it on, wait a while, spray on some more, wait a while and then come back and it will practically fall off. Just wipe off the excess so it doesn't run onto your paint and you have to polish/wax it.

 

as everyone else said here, goo gone is pretty good. however, i did have one sticker on my truck that wouldn't come off with goo gone and a razor blade. actually what worked for me is a chisel that i found in my tool box. it was brand new, so it had a really nice sharp flat edge. the key was that i was able to put a good amount of force on the chisel to scrape the sticker off. with a razor blade you can't seem to put enough force on it to get the sticker to budge.

 

I used to have a little handle that you can slip a regular razor blade into it and use as a scraper it it might have been snap-on? It worked very well.

 

I've used wallpaper remover to soften stickers up before. I'd also recommend getting one of those 4" blade scrapers with a big handle.

 

Welp with a little wd-40 and a razor blade, the stickers came right off with ease. Thanks guys

 

Ive tried them all. THe best one that worked for me was the 3M adhesive remover. Took a little elbow grease but it took all my factory stickers off with no problems. As soon as I get a pic Ill post it up.
