Western Washington ARB bumper owners

Anyone out there with one of the newer ARB bumpers that has the optional fog light/turn signal combo that looks like this?

I need to see how they (the fog light assemblies) mount in the bumper, get a few measurements and see if there's any part numbers on the triangular black bezel. I've been in contact with the guys downtown at ARB and they have part numbers for the signal lenses and a likely suspect for the IPF fog light kit but no info on the black bezel in their books yet. If I can get the right part numbers they can special order the pieces for me so I can do this!

Sorta looks like a cross between my Sahara and the standard bullbar. I'm thinking they only offer this model for the overseas models.

You see the bars running along the quarter panels. I wanna get those. I figure I can attach it to the TJM, and the sliders. But what happens if you need to remove the buumper for some reason. How would you get around that?

This model and all shown on arbusa.com are available in the states, the fog light stuff I'm trying to find is on quite a few different models. Sdastg1, those bars going down the sides bolt on and are not very stout. Owners in Australia are constantly bending them.

Guys, please don't take this thread off course. I'm trying to find someone with these fog lights so I can get measurements and part numbers, if you want to critique the bumpers please start a seperate thread.

I don't think you're going to find one of that style in the US.

All I see on the website are a bunch of listings for foreign rigs with that bumper... Toyota Prado, Toyota Land Cruiser (with IFS??? ), and a Nissan Patrol. I don't wanna discourage you...but while the website has cool stuff, it's not always indicative of what's available in the US.

Hey CTapia,
Can you check your Sahara bar to see if there is a part number in the back of your fog/turn signal bezel?
When I purchased my Taco ARB bumper the manuel had the parts number for almost every piece of the bumper. Can you check your manuel as well?

BTW I have always like the look of your runner with the Sahara bars.

I've seen a few with these lights on the road around Seattle, and they have them in stock at the warehouse but if you've ever seen how they come shipped you'd understand why they don't want to open one up just for me to look at.

Dude, CTapia! You have them! Can you take a look at them for any part numbers for me please, and mabye get some closeups of the rear of the assembly? Here's the measurements I need:

Thanks Mike for spotting that, I didn't even think of looking at his site when he mentioned his was a sahara.

Talking Bamachem

PM bamachem, he has one of those new ARB bumpers and I'm sure he'd take you all the measurements you want/need!

I have the Sahara Bar for the Prado. It's a little different from the one in the pic, but the light mounts appear to be the same:

The measurements you requested are:

A: 13-7/8"
B: 6"
C: ~4-1/2" (not exact since there's no definite place to measure due to the shape)

They attach using a backing plate and sandwiching it onto the bumper through the cutout:

Here's the parts list with #'s and descriptions:

You will need all the one's shown on the list except for the plastic CB plug. This list does not include fog lights, but does include the Plastic Plugs to fill the fog light holes. If you plan on ordering the fog light kit, then don't order 3162468 or 6151317. Actually, don't order them at all because if you don't want to order the fogs, let me know - I have two of the plugs for cheap.

$1070 is the cheapest I found for the Prado Sahara Bar. That was with the fog kit. Now they come without them and you have to order the fogs seperately.

I was pretty much figuring about the point where it starts to curve upwards, but as long as the tapered area isn't too tall it should work. I'll measure mine tonight and see if it'll work, if so I'll be ordering the parts and will update this thread with pics. Thanks for the parts list, that's exactly the info I needed. I wasn't even aware of the plate behind the bezels, I just figured it bolted straight in.

Initial measurements look like it's going to be very close, the bezel will be touching the very top and bottom edges of the front of the bumper. I guess the new ones have a couple more inches of height in that area. I'm going to see how much one bezel costs, as long as it's not too much I'll order it and see if I can make it work.

Well I picked up one of the bezels today from ARB, it's doable. Unfortunately the angle the lights are set at is all wrong, one thing I didn't think about is the sides of the other bumpers are swept back a lot more than mine. Think "crosseyed"...

Bummer dude.

Looks like its fabbing time.

Heres a shot of TacoRunners 4Runner w/ARB Taco bumper and Taco turn signals fabbed into it. All you'd need to do is add aux lights.
