2jz-GTE in a 1986 Pickup
Hey gang!
I've got a good lead on a 2JZ-GTE and I want to throw it in a 2wd pickup. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as accomplishing this?
Thanks yall!

Do your research!!
Where are your skills the weakest ??
Anything can be done with a large enough budget !!
If possible bring the complete engine donor vehicle home .
If not make sure the engine harness and ECM is all there

Probably my electrical skills are the weakest. My budget is not large :/
Are there any existing threads of people doing this?

You will need the engine and tranny at minumim. Depending on your power goals you may also need to change the rear end. Plan on a full fuel system and cooling system swap.

The stock tank will be fine. You'll just have to get a high flow pump and since you're there anyways I would run new fuel lines too since they'll have to end up in a different spot in the engine bay.
