I am pretty close about 3 hours away

Did by any chance your ecu get soaked ??

I need to read all your threads to see just what you have done

Do you at least have the Factory service Manual or The Electrical Wiring Diagrams for your Truck ??

Trying to trouble shoot without them is like firing cruise missiles without any guidance

If the injectors don`t fire it comes down to the circuit with the ECU

The ECU itself !!

The ground for this is on the Cam Bearing cap if this came loose or got corroded it can cause interesting things

I can`t see that all the coils in all the injectors would fail at once

At any time did you get a Check Engine Light??

I had check engine light that told me knock sensor and oxy sensor , I changed knock sensor , I checked the ECM it has power from Batt to E1 12vdc, I charged the battery up and put it back in today , I'm going to check the ECM out again in the morning , the Cam Bearing cap is that just under the fuel rail on the passenger side ? There are 2 grounds there and they are grounded . thanks again for the help , I will keep at it , the Cam positioning sensor does this motor have one and would that be a problem ? I said in my thread on the #2 idle pulley that the belt had come up out of the groves in the gears and when I put it back in the Belt was a little tight when I put the pulley back in , I don't know if that would do anything , I don't even know if this 3rd gen 3.0 has a Cam Positioning Sensor in it. Again thanks wyoming9, I see your just south of Scranton PA , looks like a nice area.

It is not so much the ECU/ECM has power going in but that it has the power going out and to the places it is supposed to go .

Just how did you end up in the non running condition or is this a project that never ran??

The 3.0 has no cam or crank sensors

No it ran and started right up just couldn't or didn't have power and came up with code for knock sensor , so I changed out the knock sensor and when I goth everything back together it turned over but didn't start , when I checked Fuel it had plenty of gas in the fuel rails and in the injectors, I cleaned and tested injectors got a rebuild kit , because there where in bad shape, and tested the Tails to the injectors and had no power to them and when I checked the ECM I had no power to E01 TO #10 and no peer to E02 to #20 or from them to ground FSM said there should be like 9-14vdc to them , I just put the battery back in after charging it up again , and am going to try again to see if I have power, I have not put the plennum back on yet, I don't know if that all has to be put back to make it all work .Or at lest to test for power at the pig tails.

There is no way the fuel pump will turn on with any of the air intake system disconnected unless you jumper the B+ and Fp in the check connector

If you have no fuel pressure the injectors will not open

fuel in the fuel rail is not the same as having the correct fuel pressure 38 to 44psi not a very big window ignition on engine off

I don't have anything to check fuel pressure , I thing I will put it all back together, I get 12.23vdc to one side of injectors the codes I get are 41 and 21 one I put the plenum back on that should clear 41 which is the Thorddle , 21 is an oxygen sensor, that 12vdc was from the Batt- to the black wire with red strip.

No just thinking of just putting it back together and see what I get , I get some power to the tails opened the wiring harnes up could not see any breaks, the wire here the connectors on the pig tails are a little burnt ( dryed out from heat ) this pic is not that good but I got 9vdc her but not for very long, I still get 12 vdc to the black with the red strip, to ground, cleaned the Graounds that are back by fire wall on engine under fuel rail ,

Here is another pic of harness , in the other pic I posted holding that wire , the other one in the back ground gave me 9vdc to ground I have taped them back up and ready to just put it all back together , don't know if I should buy new pic tails or not ? You can see the black ans red striped wire over to the right with the splice or crimp, the brown groungs you can see going to the back of engine that I cleaned . so thats about it for now.
