93 Pickup with a funky idle...

My issue has me pretty confused, never seen a vehicle do this before... When coming to a stop, as soon as i push the clutch in the RPM's spike, usually right around 2k to 2200. If i blip the gas they will usually fall back to anywhere between 700 to 1500. Everything Ive done on the truck in the past three weeks: Full tune up, changed oil, cleaned throttle body and MAF, replaced IAC and TPS and slave cylinder. I know a few of those have no affect on the issue. Ive also found that i can take my foot and pull the gas pedal out (while driving) and it will close off the throttle body to the point where the truck will die. If someone can please give me some advice that would be great. I'm leaning towards replacing the return spring on the throttle body (if i can find one) because it seems to me the spring isn't strong enough anymore to pull the throttle body back to an idle position, but this still doesn't explain the RPM spike when pushing in the clutch.

i wanted to add another return spring to my throttle body, but i couldn't figure out how to fit something that would work all the way around the full rotation... the factory uses a coiled spring wrapped around the throttle shaft.

how loose is the throttle cable, where it attaches to the tb? you can adjust the amount of slack there, see if it makes a difference.

Dashpot sticking. They need lube once in a while. Or take it right off.
