I want to get the sport hood that has the scoop.
Where can I get one of these at the best price?
Will I have to get it painted black?

 

I would just go to the Toyota dealership and get one. You probably won't find one anywhere else any cheaper, plus if you have any problems with it, Toyota has to deal with it. Also there are many smaller pieces that fit in the actuall "scoop", and those will be hard to find anywhere else.

 

Check with "fourunnabilly." He upgraded to a hood scoop.

 

About $300 from Toyota. Then you would need to take it to a body shop to get it painted, probably $100 or more. You are taking your chances if you go with an aftermarket hood. It may not line up as well.

One of these days...prob in just over a month, i'll be able to put together a huge comprehensive write up with pics covering everything that I have done to my ride...sorry this hasnt happened yet, I have a break in the action coming mid may.
