Rear axle help on a 2wd build

So I have a 91 4 cylinder 2wd standard cab base model pickup. I did a ball joint spacer lift on the front and longer shackles to clear a 30' tire. Now that I have the taller tires I want to gear the truck to a 4.10 but the local shops want around $800 to do the job. So I figured I would just pick up a factory 4.10 third slam it in and be done with it. I found one out of an 85 front axle for $75 being out of a front axle it has very few miles on it. Well... ..To my surprise the rear end of my truck has a 7.5 ring gear and 27 spline axles so after some research that I should have done in the beginning I found that the v6 2wd axles have an 8in ring gear and still being a 5 lug PERFECT! Got one for $175. Well.... Just got it home v6 third, 8in ring gear, pulled an axle shaft and this damn thing has 27 spline axle shafts the axle I just picked up is a G382. I know that there are 5 lug axles out there with an 8in ring gear and 30 spline axle shafts

So my question is would anyone know what the axle code is for a 2wd 5lug axle with the 8in ring gear and 30 spline axles? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

did you try googling it? "toyota pickup axle code" brings back a bunch of responses.

I thought all Toyota 8" rear 3rds took 30-spline axles?

I believe the code for 8", 4.10, 2-pinion is G292

I have been googling this for days. I can find axle codes but nothing that tells me the spline count. And the G292 axle I believe is a 6 lug 4x4 rear so it won't work. After discussing this issue with the junk yard I bought the axle from to return it I find out that they sent me the wrong axle... They sent me an a01a which is a 7.5 ring gear instaid of the G382. The G382 does have an 8in ring but Would anyone happen to know if the G382 axle does in fact have 30 spline axle shafts?

These 2wd Trucks are a lot harder to find any specific info on then the 4x4 trucks. Here's a pic of my other baby for some eye candy

any 8in rear end will fit in the housing. I had a 87 2wd with the same axle as your truck. The 4wd trucks rear end will fit your axle too. I dont know any references that tell the spline count.
