Can you be more specific?
Does it get hot when driving at speeds or just when sitting?

Water pump bad. Run with thermostat out for a day or two. See what happens to temp then. Pumps turning you'll not run hot. Flush everything real good to put back straight water tell you figure out. Don't let it run hot.

You could have the wrong mixture of coolant or have air pockets or a few other things, definitely need to provide a bit more info...

Need to trouble shot the issue to figure out what's going on. Just guessing and throwing parts at it is a good way to waste time and money.

If you can drive it at 45-65 mph for a sustained period of time with out it over heating it's probably your fan clutch failing. Simple and easy replacement. This is assuming nothing is blocking your radiator and your fan shroud is still in place.

If it's starts getting hot randomly and will suddenly drop back down to operating rage while sitting it could be a sticking T stat.

Like others have said make sure you don't have air in the system and that you are running a 50/50 mix of coolant and water.

Original radiator? Look in the top and is the white corrosion in the slots? Recommend a new radiator from someplace like https://www.radiator.com/
