94 22re starts and dies.

I've searched and searched some more. I've replaced the afm and computer. Tested the fuel pump. Checked all grounds and fuses. I even replaced the ignition switch. Nothing has changed. I'm not sure what to do now. Any help is much appreciated.

Cold start injector could be flooding the engine.

Have you figured out what the problem is??

If you say the injectors are not firing check the ECU ground and the injector connections.

break out the noid lights just to double check !!

Main injectors are fired (timed) from the pickup coil pulse in the distributor. Swap distributor if you have a spare. Check injector wiring. The run and die may be from just getting cold start injector fuel then thats it.

Before you swap distributors, pull the cap on the distributor if you haven't already and rotate the engine to TDC. See if the rotor points to the 10:00 position. If its pointing to the 4:00 position you are most likely 180* out of time. The reason I say this is when my buddy bought his pickup he got a great deal on it because the previous owner couldn't get it started and though the engine was toast. (beautiful truck, no rust super clean) We messed around with it, checked injectors, etc. Finally we pulled the distributor cap, and we laughed so damn hard cause it was just out of time. Refit the distributor and she turned right over. Had to time it though.

This being said this might or might not be your problem, but because it takes 5 minutes to check its worth doing. Two screws and you know.

Not really 2 screwes because you have to pull the valve cover off to get the cylinder to tdc on compression stroke. It will be out 180 every other stroke. But your mark will show tdc on crank.
