I want to stay as low as possible... I'm ok trimming, I'm curious if anyone's done it before, and how much have you had to trim?

Steve Schaefer ( http://www.sonoransteel.com ) did it to a Tacoma I think....low profile.....spring under in the front SAS makes it possible.

Seems like if you can fit them sprung under, sprung over should be no problem then

The problem you run into with spring over and a small lift is the steering. Typically with SAS'd rigs you need at least 3" of lift for the crossover steering to clear the leaf springs.

Check out "sprung under runner" I'm still doing research and am wanting to do something similar: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/toyot...=1458258165370

Current Update:

35s under a 2" lift fit and tuck pretty well. I have some minor rubbing on a split splash guard. After cutting the bent part it should be fine. The only other modification was to the inner pinch seams.
