How to remove IFS steering Knuckle

I can't get my steering knuckle to come off. Do I have to loosen the torsion bar to allow the upper control arm to get the knuckle off of the lower control arm? I can't get my cv axle out for the life of me. I have undone everything from the knuckle including the ball joints but can't get enough clearance to get the knuckle free from the control arms. Please help!!

You'd be way better starting your own thread in the correct section (86-95 Trucks and 4Runners in the SUV and Truck section) rather than asking your question in reply to a totally unrelated thread in a totally unrelated section.

That being said, if all the parts that mount the knuckle have been removed and you just need to separate the two control arms to pull it out, I use a long 3 foot pry bar to push the lower control arm down and gain room to do what I'm doing. In the future, before lifting the truck up, you should put an appropriately sized socket between the upper control arm and the top bumpstop to keep the suspension from fully drooping when the weight of the truck is taken off of it.

Hope this helps, welcome to YotaTech.

I appreciate it man. For some reason I wasn't able to start my own thread. I tried. There was some message about me not having permission to do so. Searched for cv axle forums for about an hour and couldn't find anything in my truck. Maybe I just need to learn how to use the site better. Hahaha. Again thank you a bunch for the help and the welcom to the site.
