I have recently bought a 89' Toyota standard cab 4x4 with the so called "3.slo" 3-vze v6 engine in it. The motor has over 296 thousand miles on it and I bought with a blown HG. I rebuilt the top end and replaced the HG and other components that go along with a top end rebuild. I'm debating on whether keeping this engine because of the HG problem, and need some advice on keeping it and trusting it won't blow for at least 90,000 miles. Trade it, swap it, sell it????
