#4 cylinder not firing. 86 22re. Rebuild using engnbldr head and kit. Rebuilt spark plugs from Mr. injector. TPS adjusted to spec. Timing set to 5 degrees jumped. I see spark and wet spark plug. I hear fuel injector ticking with stethoscope.
Compression test next. I just don't have the right fitting for this head.
Any other ideas?

 

I have seen a coil send spark to the plugs and still not fire. I suspect the fire is just to weak. I would check the Primary and Secondary on the coil. Haynes Manual has a good check for the coil.

 

Can't believe it ran at all. Wires were 1-2-3-4 instead of 1-3-4-2. Timing was 180 out.
