what's the deal with bushwacker?

i was kind of excited to receive my flares today after being on back order for almost a month and a half. i take the flares out of the box to prefit them. WTF?!?! half of the parts don't even fit right on the 4runner. whoever fabricated these things at bushwacker did a horrible job. has anyone else who had the extend a fender flares have to fabricate them to fit themselves? i am so upset i am thinking of sending them back. if anyone has any advice i would appreciate it.

Mine fit fine. I admit they are not perfect, but once you get the rubber gasket on there to go between the body and the flare, you can't tell that they aren't perfect. If you don't like them, try out the Xenon flares and see how you like those.

What do you mean they don't fit? Are they too short, are the edges a little off?

I'm really curious since I planned on ordering mine soon. Does anybody have close up pics of Bushwackers installed;I'd like to see a close up of the fitment.

My rear flares all fit perfect. The fronts did not line up completely perfect, but unless you really really look, you can't tell. I don't have my digital camera or I would take some pics.

Mine were pretty close. The rubber strip cures most evils.

they have been sold skshepherd. i am sorry i couldn't hold them for you but there were several people who asked me to hold them that and never came though, so whoever had the money first got them. if this buyer doesn't come though, i will let you know.

as for my bushwackers, the front bumper pieces will only fit if i cut off some of the lower valence corner. and the rear peices don't go all the way down to the bottom of the truck.
