I have a 81 yota with a 22r. I took it out Wheeling today and towards the end of the day I noticed that the lights wouldn't work; headlights, taillights, and gauges. But the brake and signal lights work. I checked the wiring and fuses and both looked fine. Any suggestions would be great and thanks in advance.

 

How did you "check" fuses and wiring? Looking is not good enough.

All of the above share ground at tail light section of dimmer-combo (stalk) and headlight section.

Schematic for 1986-1988 22RE is below. Yours maybe different.


Please:

1. Check if your high-beam flash work
2. Get a volt-meter, and
3. get a schematic for your truck

Then we'll go from there.
