86 toyota pickup 22rte codes

Alright I am new to this site and would like to see if anyone can please help me out.
I have a 86 Toyota pickup 22rte I have been getting horrible gas mileage only 10 mpg. So I recently checked to see if it was throwing any codes and is currently throwing code #6 ( engine speed "rpm" sensor. And also code #14 turbocharger "tc" pressure. What would really make it throw those codes and make me be getting such horrible gas mileage? Thank you.

I would start with addressing these components. Sensors do wear out and turbo connections can become loose. Good places to check. If the sensor is fine and the turbo and connections are fine then lets start to look at what hidden problems would cause these codes. But always start with the obvious it's just easier that way.

So I ended up changing the distributor roter and the cap, found out that I had a leak where the intake attached to the turbo cleaned all the intake a turbo ports. Took out the ecu fuse pit it back in and checked and it is no longer throwing any codes. So hopefully that will fix my problem.
