1985 Toyota 4 runner springs should I get

HI all. So I recently bought a 1985 Toyota 4runner. The package included a pro comp 4 inch lift kit with es3000 shocks, crossover steering, 4.88s and 33'' bfg all terrains. This is my first solid axle setup. I am by no means a expert with articulation but as far as im concerned this lift sucks. My buddies stock jeep flexes just as much as my 4runner does which is not ok. So my question to you is which springs will give me good ride quality as well as max flex without getting too high off the ground. If at all possible I would like to keep my "4" inchs lift. With the springs I understand shocks are very important as well. I keep hearing bilsteens are the way to go but what length should I get. I am not afraid to to a little welding as I do it 9+ hrs a day. If I just get longer shackles like some 5" from marlin or someone how much extra flex will I obtain. I am no off road expert and still have much to learn but I would like to have a well built rig as I start my 4x4 trials

Welcome to YT. The procomps are not really made for flex but rather to simply lift. If you want to retain 4" I would recommend going with all pro 4" springs. You will have to go with a front hanger, as the springs are longer than stock.

As a guy with a 4" procomp lift I can attest that he speaks the truth. They are stiff as hell and beat your ass/spine up on the trail. Mine came with them and I'm likely going to swap them out for the all pros just like Gizler is advising you here.
