hey guys,
did a search and saw that the tripp lite powerverter is available at circuit city / staples. is this still true? the 300w one is no longer in production, so i wanted to get this 375w one

What are you attempting to run on it? 375 watts isn't much. Anything that draws more than 3 amps will be beyond it's capability. I have an 800w inverter which I bought for less than $100 a few years ago and I'm sure they're cheaper now. But again, what are you using it for? That's the big question.

im not sure... everything from like a cell phone charger, to a portable tv, to a coffee maker... and other camping equipment. i'm trying to get all the necessary things together to make it so this summer i can go on weekend camping trips without much more planning than a full tank of gas for the drive.
so should i go for higher wattage? whats the max i can go?
