hey guys,

did a search and saw that the tripp lite powerverter is available at circuit city / staples. is this still true? the 300w one is no longer in production, so i wanted to get this 375w one :



i wish it wasnt that lame blue... any complaints on it from anyone that has it etc??

What are you attempting to run on it? 375 watts isn't much. Anything that draws more than 3 amps will be beyond it's capability. I have an 800w inverter which I bought for less than $100 a few years ago and I'm sure they're cheaper now. But again, what are you using it for? That's the big question.

 

im not sure... everything from like a cell phone charger, to a portable tv, to a coffee maker... and other camping equipment. i'm trying to get all the necessary things together to make it so this summer i can go on weekend camping trips without much more planning than a full tank of gas for the drive.

so should i go for higher wattage? whats the max i can go?

 

by the way, portable tv is for my little cousin on the drive up!
