92 pickup when put in gear truck vibrates bad

got a 92 pickup with the 22re and auto tranny when I put the truck into gear it vibrates pretty bad . I have changed the motor and tranny mounts thought that might be the problem but it didn't seem to change it. the truck doesn't have a rpm gauge in it so I don't know what its running at. it seems to idle fine . anybody have a clue what's wrong ? or where/what I should look for? any help on this would be great , Thanks

COULD be some teeth missing from the tranny's counter-shaft...

Vibration only at idle with Transmission in drive..? Reverse..? Any gear..?

Fast idle speed incorrect..?

No vibration in park/neutral..?

Does vibration disapate with increased engine rpms..?

More information on this matter.

Only vibrates in drive reverse? Like when yout sitting still on the breaks in gear, or when your driving? Sort of sounds like a timing issue.

Vibration Problem

my 86 had the same problem when I bought it at first I thought the flex plate was cracked. but it turned out to be a combination of a miss rigged TPS bad timing distributor was off a tooth and the vacuum lines were all jacked up hope this helps

yes it vibrates when in any gear , it doesn't shake in park though . and if its in gear and your foot is on the brake yes it vibrates you don't of course feel it when your driving .

Surging idle when warm? High idle causes that.

I took it out for a quick run out into my field today and it seemed to not to surge , I plan/hope to run it out a little further tomorrow and see what happens then . I did disconnect the battery just to see if that would do anything .
