Yep, only a week after getting my front brake swap completed the Yoter quit again. On the way back from Valhalla (bear hunting stand) I started to hear this obnoxious growling from under the rear of the truck.

When I got home to inspect it, the pinion had quite a bit more play in it than usual. Upon tear down I found the pinion had three teeth with cracks and chunks missing. So off to the interweb to check on prices for new ring and pinion, rebuild kit, and a spool to replace the welded spiders. Quickly I found out that the most expensive part of the truck is the RING AND PINION....

The best price was through the local shop Come Get Ya Some. Bought Yukon gears and rebuild kit with crush eliminator, and a USA spool. For the same price as all USA stuff online.

Just a friendly reminder that sometimes it pays to stay local. But, still sucks that my personal Christmas budget is blown way too early.

Good info about checking prices locally, nowadays most just buy online and be done with it. It's pays to shop around from multiple places
