96 4runner reversed polarity

My 4runner was in the way and wife went to move it while I was gone...long story short she put the charger on backwards. I replaced all blown fuses i could find. After, i still have no interior acc. I noticed the 100amp alt fusible link was fried. I tried just crossing up the fusible link. When i did this the starter solenoid clicked continuously with no key in the ignition!!! Also i noticed the starter relay was warm so i swiched it out no change. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like it is time to up grade to a newer model wife!!

When things like this happen no telling just what can happen it might be the solenoid contacts are welded closed.

Lets hope you did not fry the igniter and ECM

Good luck Time to break out the meter and trouble shoot.

Untold damage was done. You will have to inspect all of the harness to ever really be safe. How long she leave it on and at what amp rating on charger.....like fast charge...slow....etc..?

At least check continuity on everything you can. You would be surprised how quick a car will go up in flames from electrical problems. Hell it could have burned right there in the driveway this time.
