What are these connectors for?

What are these connectors for?
I found these under the dash when I started digging. I have an 01 4Runner SR5, 3.4L V6 Supercharged with Doug Thorley headers, and custom Flowmaster cat back.
I'm installing a brake controller to control trailer brakes, and was looking around for a factor plug-in in the dash and found these. Any idea what they are???????
And can anyone suggest a brake controller post?
