Fuel tank lift?

Ok so I have a 2006 4runner with a 3 inch lift, but my fuel tank still sits like 3-4 inches below the frame are there any ways to lift it up to give me more clearance?

the only real solution is to either relocate the fuel tank to another spot, recess it up into the floor pan, or install custom/aftermarket fuel tank with different profile.

your other, simpler option, is to install a fuel tank skid plate and then readdress the issue with a more invasive fix if it becomes an ongoing problem with clearance. I think BudBuilt makes some.

Not sure on 2006 but on my 89 I did 3 inch body lift and raised the tank 3 inches. Came out good.

Yeah, that's one of my complaints with our first-gens. Why even have the fuel tank stick out below the frame? But still first-gens rule!
