Alarm goes off after motor rebuild??

So my dad and I bought a 94 4runner with the 3.0. Got it cheap because of a blown head gasket. We pulled the motor replaced everything and now that we've got everything back in the alarm goes off once a door is opened. If the door is already open before the battery is connected there is no alarm unless the door is shut and reopened or another door opens. Neither of us can seem to figure out why it would do this.
Help is greatly appreciated !!

Uh, do you have the instructions for how to use the alarm?

No? Well, you gotta rip it out!

I don't think it will be that easy. It seems like it would be very well integrated so it wasn't easy for thieves. I'm sure it's just a wire somewhere. But it doesn't make sense because when we got the vehicle it did not have this problem.

Haha, its an aftermarket alarm. The installers install them easily so they can get them in and then get them out. Im sure if you were to look up under the dash you will see a big ball of wires all tied together, that's the alarm. undo all the wires and find the ones to the door and unhook it. your alarm will not be triggered by the door anymore. If not, take it to a shop like said previously.

I suppose I'll have to try removing the alarm myself because with the alarm set of the vehicle will not start and I do not plan on trying to get it back on the trailer. But thanks for the help

Well I got it y'all. Fortunately I found the answer on another forum. Turns out I needed to put the key in accessory mode and flip a toggle switch on and back off. For anyone with the same problems as I had the toggle switch was near the hood latch release. If not a toggle it would be a push button.
