tg sas pitman arm nut keeps backing off

Hey guys and gals. I installed a TG 3 inch sas on my 88 yota about 2 months ago. everything went really well. The only question i have i why the nut on the pitman arm keeps backing off? I just re used the nut and washer that was originally on it. i actually just noticed it a couple days ago when i thought my pickup was handling a little wierd. I've been obsessively. checking the torque on everything at least 2 times a week since the swap. wheel spacers never loosened at all. u bolts loosened barely. but i retorqued the pitman arm to 130 yesterday and drove maybe 3 miles around town and it loosened again.

my old one kept tightening until i was out of spline like the taper kept stretching. a new arm and box was in that trucks future when i sold it. how much spline you got left? if there is enough put a big impact on it and give er hell a few good braps should do it. mine sure felt tighter than 130 the first time i took it off.

There's at least a half an inch of splines left. i thought 130 was a bit looser then the old one. i just went by the specs i found online. maybe ill go to 140-150.

On things like that I always use new hardware.

Is the nut getting loose or is the shaft just worn that hard.

I'm gonna try a new nut and lock washer after work. hopefully that fixes it. other than that I'm actually really happy witth the tg kit.
