3' suspension lift

If I wanted to put a three inch suspension lit fornt and rear on my 82 pickup, would i need to buy any other hardware besides what comes in the Rough country kit (shackles, etc)?

Usually the kit has everything you need, but you might need to get shocks or brake lines. Check to see what is included in the kit.

All Rough Country kits are missing one important part - a lifetime membership to a chiropractor. That kit will beat the hell out of you, I absolutely hated mine.

What about an Ironman lift kit? Has anyone ever used that brand? If so, how did it work out?
I have the full Ironman kit on my FJ 60, and it rides great.

kawa, didnt you try pairing the RC springs with the Bilstiens? I am guessing that didnt soften the ride up enough lol, I am in the same boat with my 80 pickup, I have almost pulled the trigger on the RC setup a few times but i always have an eye on the complete ome kit on the rockyroad outfitters site. In your experience do you think the Medium rate ome springs would hold up to the added weight of plate bumpers and a bed rack, all together i would guess around 250 lbs of extra weight evenly distributed.
