1985 22re recent rebuild low power a/t

Friend brought truck to me, just had it rebuilt. Flashed codes and had 2, 7, and 8. Did test on MAF and tested bad, so I replaced . Also found 3 or 4 cvacuum lines leaking and replaced plugs with ngk instead of autolite. Also replace cts due to corrosion. Seems to run ok but best when fully advanced. Distributor is on time and compression across the board is any wje from 120 to 145. Has low power especially when put in gear and no take off power.

Is the TPS adjusted right? Are you sure you replaced the AFM with a known good one?

Check all your intake pieces as well. My truck was throwing code 7 and 11, both of which are TPS, and it turned out to be a hole in the rubber elbow going onto the throttle body.

I would say that is a start to the issues. You need to get a known good AFM and see if it makes a difference. I had s similar issue last year and it was the AFM.

Also, Hows the timing? What is it set at?
