1985 4runner 22re semi-built
I am reposting this due to not being able to add pics. So here it is again.
I am selling my 1985 toyota 4runner. For the sole purpose of I want a new truck. I have lost interest in the older toyotas and am ready for something with four doors. So here is a few details....
-1985 with the factory straight axle.
-190k miles
-22re and I'm not sure if it's had any motor work.
-heat works great. Air gets cool but probably needs a charge.
-fresh tune up
-new fuel pump
A few mods:
-all pro extreme lift.
-4:88s
-ARB air lockers front and rear
-trail gear high steer and ifs steering box
-trail gear rock ripper intake
-new!!! BFG KM2s 35x12.50-15
-15x8 pro comp simulated bead locks
-paint is around 3 weeks old
-rebuilt axle with trail gear rebuild kit
-custom front and rear bumpers and roof rack.
The interior is OK. I have replaced the factory seats with SR5 seats (seen in pics). The carpet is ugly and aftermarket. It needs door panels and the paneling along the back walls.
I honestly don't know a whole lot about the vehicle history. I was told it spent most of its life if not all of it in Arizona. A bought it from a Marine that was stationed in Beafourt, SC.
It is bone dry underneath. No leaks.
A few problems that I am aware of and I am by no means a mechanic and am not extremely mechanically inclined. When driving there is a whining noise coming from the passenger side wheel area. It's a consistent whine that gets increasingly louder when pressing the brakes. Could be a wheel bearing but again I am not a mechanic. I believe it also needs a proportioning valve. When going from fourth to fifth gear is makes a racket. Hard to explain the racket. But it goes away once in fifth and cruising. Maybe the throw out bearing?? The passenger side hub will not completely lock. I can send a video of this. The drivers side widow mechanism is worn out and needs help coming up.
The build in itself doesn't have a lot of miles on it. Maybe 3-4000. The springs aren't even broke in good yet. I am not in a rush to sell. I don't have to sell. I've just lost interest in it and want a newer truck but do not have to have one. Any lowball offers will be ignored.
I may just trade for the right 3rd gen SASed runner.
Asking price is $7500 but I am willing to negotiate. I need it gone. I want a new truck! For the right price, I will also throw in another 3rd member with a 4:56 gear set and a ARB air locker.
Located in the upstate of SC. Anderson to be specific.
Call or text me at 8643538624. I can send more pics of the interior and what not through text.

Another price drop to $6250! I've had several calls and text but no money has shown up. Someone needs to buy this. I'm negotiable fellas! Make an offer, you won't hurt my feelings.
