83 22R rocker arm replacement

83 22R rocker arm replacement
Hi guys, I have an 83 22R and it broke the # 3 intake rocker. Can I change the rocker arm assy without removing head and having to replace the head gasket?
The reason I ask is the head was just replaced 2 years ago

It can be done. I have done it once myself. YOU CANNOT disturb the head. No bumping, etc...some even strap it down.
It is a roll of the dice though. No guarantees. def worth a shot.
Use only toyota rockers....new or refaced. No aftermarket. trust me.
either new toyota rocker... 22re performance sells refaced ones that work well. I have a set of those.
