1985 toyota pickup

Have had a lot of toyotas, and I have decided to keep and build this 85. Normally I buy built trucks and fix then then wheel them then go off and sell them. But I got this stock 85 for real cheap. It has 196,000 miles, passed smog first try, changed the oil a month ago, I check it every morning am the level stays the same and the color barely changes. This is a strong running motor, one of the strongest I've seen or had. But one day it started running really rough and I have no idea what it could be. At idle it runs almost like it's misfiring every time, or running rich, but when I drive down the road, it is fine like nothing has happened. Any idea what this could possibly be?
(Spark plugs new cap n rotor new wires new fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel filters, all that good ˟˟˟˟. I have no idea why it's running so rough. Any ideas? Thank you!

Pull your plugs and look at them. What do they look like? Are they all similar? If one stands out from the rest that's possible. How is the exhaust? ie. no cracks on the manifold. My parts truck with a 22re has a cracked exhaust manifold and on cold start runs fine but when she heats up the crack expands and won't idle wants to die. I give her some loud pedal bring it up to around 2k rpm's and runs perfect. Have you done a tune up on it yet? Have you checked the timing chain? Did your distributor come loose( i know long shot)? Have you checked to see if it's throwing any codes? I am sure I am just scratching the surface. More will chime in after all most if not all of us like 85's. Now just add pictures

Good luck

Thank you! I have no crack in the manifold, everything looks good, plugs are brand new and all tightened down to torque.

Might be a sign for a carburetor tune-up or rebuid.
