1992 Toyota Pickup Tick Noise

Curious if anyone can help diagnose the ticking noise in my Yota. Check out my youtube video I uploaded. The smog pump is kinda loud. Also, does it sound like my timing chain is slapping the cover when I give it gas?

Thanks,

Hunter

What about the chain, does it sound like it's hitting the cover?

IT kinda does, but you wont know until you remove the valve cover, start with a valve adjustment and inspection of the t-chain guide while you are in there.

Pulled the valve cover, drivers side chain guide is gone, chain has barely touched the chain cover though. Guess she will have to sit until I can get the timing chain replaced.

engnbldr.com call them talk to Ted.
order:
you want
waterpump
oil pump
timing set with steel rail on driver side
upper gasket set
you said timing cover was good?

Should be like $100 some odd bucks? Been several months since I did mine.
