Aftermarket fog lights connected to the factory switch

I have a 2000 Highlander with the column mounted light / fog switch. I am getting a ShrockWorks bumper with the PIAA 510's in the bumper. I want to control them via the factory lights like the factory ones. I have searched and found nothing. I know I am probably using the wrong key words.

Does anyone know how to do this? I am sure it is as easy as taping into the rely, but I am unsure about where it is and how to do it. I have a Computer Science degree, not a Electrical Engineering so cut me a little slack.

thanks in advance

run the factory fog light glug wire into a new relay and run power to the relay. This will let you use the factory wires as a switch, yet power it from the battery/alternator.
