Hi i drive a Toyota 1993 Toyota Pickup 4x4 3vze. i searched the forum and i couldnt find a solution. Here's the problem. Sometimes my car decides to start up and seems like everythings normal. I drive for half the day and BAM while im driving my car shuts off. Then i try to start it... i get crank but no start. I try leaving it to cold start and sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesnt..... I've switched out the distributor, tested spark plugs, checked my fuel pressure, changed the coil and igniter, switched the relays, changed the wires from the coil from and to the distributor, I even changed the ECM!!!!! Now i'm in a total lost. It seems like it has a minds of its own of when to start and when to not start........... If anyone has any ideas please post. Thank you.

 

Well then... i found my solution..... it was my MAF..... what a shame.... but hey good to know that and i'm finally free from this problem.
