Is this a good deal on this dash bezel?

I need this.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-1981-Toyota-HiLux-Hi-Lux-Pickup-Pick-Up-Truck-Radio-Bezel-Surround-Trim-VG-/261017762245?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cc5def9c5&vxp=mtrMine is buggered up around the radio..

I carved out that box to put an equalizer in..stupid, but I was young.
So, having never done this type restoration before, I wondered if you guys thought this was a decent deal? Obviously it's used. but I didn't know how often these things come along parted out.

No - way too much. I see them on Ebay all the time for less and that one is not even in that good of shape. I paid $40 for mine 3 years ago or so. Be patient, watch Ebay and the classifieds here and you can get one for a reasonable price.

Wow. Ok. That seemed a little steep but I wasn't sure of the availability of them.
I tell you this restoration ends up on your mind a lot. LOL. thinking of what you want to do..how it used to look..how you want to change it now. I'd like to get that box it had (used to put sunglasses in it) back for sure. And get a radio that'd fit back in it.
Thanks for that advice.
If anyone sees one of those bezels, I'd appreciate a headsup.
Also would like to have one of those shift knob silver inserts with the shift diagram on it. I have the knob but the plate peeled off years ago.

exactly why we built a replacement dash ...

using your imagination , you can install the guage cluster , and make it personal , and will certinally outlast the foam dash pad

See, I'm not sure how much "stock" I want to go with either. I mean, if you just restore it back to what it was when I bought it off the lot, then, well, you loose the character and the memories that's been made.
For instance, see how I whitteled out that box and made a place for the equalizer (and the Jensens behind the seats) I did that with my long time buddy in his shop when we were probably 23.
I dunno. Just been thinking if I get a perfect looking bezel back, then I loose what I created with him. We been friends a long time.
I guess at the end of the day, it's what I want to do.
I'm thinking of cleaning it up a little around the dash and putting a new equalizer/radio setup or something and leaving the memories we made drinking Bud lites and putting in an equalizer.
I had thought about getting a new bezel and using that box. And getting a radio and an FM transmitter for my phone if I wanted to drive it much.
So, we'll have to see how it all rolls out.
I know I'm having a great time researching and doing this.
I'll be BROKE from all the costs..but, hey. I've been broke before.
Heck, I was broke when I bought it 32 years ago.
